The New Symbol of Istanbul and Shopping: OLIVIUM OUTLET CENTER
Construction of Olivium began as a leather trade center near the end of 1997. But, the crises experienced in the leather sector in the course of time and the lack of shopping centers led to considerations of converting the structure into a shopping center.
In 2000, the structure was opened to business as the first Outlet Center in Istanbul where well known international and Turkish brand products are sold at factory prices. With 45,000 m? market area, 29,048 m? leasable area and a 1000 vehicle parking lot, sitting on a land of 28,900 m?, it was not just a place for shopping but a venue which offers many elements about life and entertainment.
The name ?Olivium? is a combination of the words ?olive? in English and ?um?, which means community in Latin.
